Hey, thanks for visiting our website! My name is Pastor John Thompson (or just Pastor John). At Forest City Bible Church we enjoy a wonderful church family atmosphere. Our congregation is a caring community of believers who support one another through prayer, Bible study and Bible-centred teaching and fellowship. Each week we worship together with music and study the Word of God to gain His insights for our daily lives! I count it a privilege to serve as the pastor of FCBC. My wife, Doris and I have been in ministry at FCBC for over 10 years now. We have four adult children. Our three oldest daughters are all married and two attend FCBC with their husbands. One daughter and husband live in Calgary and also have four children. Our son is recently graduated from high school and still living at home. I am a graduate of Central Baptist Seminary in Toronto and served previously as a pastor in Orillia, Peterborough, and Owen Sound, Ontario, as well as Calgary, Alberta. I would consider it a privilege to share with you and your family the truths of the Bible. We believe that God’s Word has the answers for the problems we face and the insight to help us live each day to glorify Him. At Forest City Bible Church we try to minister to families and individuals on many levels. God has blessed us with a terrific facility and we are always ready to welcome newcomers to our various programs.
